Just because it has a name doesn't mean it's great. I felt very uncomfortable staying here. The hallways and rooms look like a half-way house for the homeless. The parking lot is scary, down under the hotel. For business travel, I would suggest staying in Fairlawn. It's closer to the airport, and the hotels are a lot nicer than this.

A Concrete Monstrosity
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/06
This hotel is dispicable. Absolutely horrid. I have NEVER encountered such indifference and unprofessionalism in a hotel (or motel for that matter) staff. To start, I was greeted at the front entrance by housekeeping dumping a bucket of dirty water on the curb. Seriously. The front desk agent was unkempt, yawned in my face, and looked like he ...

i loved it because it was close to our cheerleading competitions and some great places to eat! every time i needed help with anything the staff was ready to provide. i was grateful of the staff for putting up with over 100 cheerleaders. Great Job!
After a house fire and being placed at this hotel by the Red Cross, we will DEFINATELY return. GREAT service, and good people. The waitstaff in the lounge and restaraunt are perfectly placed employess.

Awful! and Akron's my home town!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/05
Dirty, noisy, out-of-date and just plain uncomfortable. The service was horrible...I asked for a lift from the shuttle van to drop me off two blocks up because is was a blizzard outside and the front desk said, "No, he's already busy." He was sitting in his van ready the paper! My rooms was muggy and smelled like a wet sock. The ...

Spent a week one night in Akron. The parking garage is a joke. I'ts a major chore getting in and out of the place. The food was poor, the service average, and the room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Too bad you have to wake up in such a boring, ugly city. Typical Ohio.

My Worst Night's "Sleep"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/04
After reading the last review, I guess I was lucky, my a/c worked just fine, but the TV made a sound like a jet taking off, and the mattresses were laughable. They sagged and looked like they'd been there since the '60's! Needless to say, very little sleep was had by all. This hotel is well below my expectations for a Radisson property.

DO NOT STAY HERE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/04
This hotel was horrible. The advertised price on here starts at $71 but in reality its $114. The indoor pool was NOT even heated. The pool was dirty. the excersize room was laughable. Room service was terrible. The rooms and hallways had an "odd" odor. the air conditioning in the rooms did not work well. The shower heads are so low you ...
