We needed a place to stay near Bakersfield to break up the road trip from Monterey to Vegas. We didn't want anything more than a place to lay our weary heads but we were pleasantly surprised by a large room with a microwave and a fridge. If you don't want to go all the way into Bakersfield, then this is the place to stay. I'ts in the farm country, away from crowds. But, you still have easy access to all the major freeways. Very clean rooms with all the amenities you could want. Plus! It's extremely safe....for those that travel by themselves. The only bad point would be, that it is a little high priced for the area.
