the room was not clean at arrival so we asked to be transferred to another room, but even so cleanliness was not really the best they could do....
too noisy, it was under construction when we stayed (feb '09).
My advice is : try something else...

The Kent is the best bang for your buck in South Beach. Its clean, staff is very friendly and its perfectly located. You have to keep in mind that its a boutique hotel and very few hotels in south beach have large rooms. Yes, you can find nicer rooms in South Beach, but you will pay triple the amount(Delano, Shore Club, Victor, etc.) If your looking to only spend $100 a night then this is your best bet.
