Small little place with good food, very clean surroundings. These people try harder. Not all of it is as much to my own taste as my all time favorite Indian restaurant, but some of it is even better. Their naan, their chai tea and certain other dishes even beat my long time favorite. And they are a bit closer by and a bit less expensive than the other place.

Good food, we used to visit this small but nice restaurant frequently when we lived in Glendale. Though we have moved to a place 30 miles away we do visit this restaurant now and then, whenver we go to LA.

Food is great, loved the lunch buffet (I don't think they have it anymore, call to confirm). Though not a big fan of the Saag panner ...

  • Dissapointing will not go back

Nice welcome by the head waitress. the ambiance was very mediocre, and the setup of the dinning room is clumsy with their working table visible. Food quality is so, so. the cleanliness is OK but not too good-- I mean the way they handle the plates, and utensils, etc. Prices are too high for the over all value they are delivering.

  • Really good Indian by Real Indians
    By marcabhooya, 03/01/07
This is some of the best, authentic Indian food in L.A. The owner oversees every part of the prep and cooking and their tandoori (clay oven) turns out some droolworthy curries, tandoori chicken, naan, rice and on and on. Even their rice pudding is authentic, with the rosewater and spices - yes! Prices are average for good Indian. It's a little hole-in-the-wall, but people don't come for the decor, they come for the yum!
