Wonderful experienceWe think this inn is great! Very large, with all the charm, character, and hospitality of a B&B, but with a restaurant style breakfast where you order whatever you want and as much as you want served in a beautiful dining room. Excellent hotelA perfect getaway for those who want to escape the stress of modern life. It is gorgeous - the location and the hotel itself. Balsam Mountain Inn not a good choice!!!!Not only was our room basic, sparse, no clock, radio, etc. The bathroom was very small with not even a shower head. The noise all around us was unbearable, especially in the morning. The owners are unresponsive when concerns are raised to them. Food was mediocre at best. Breakfast buffet was limited.
