We came to Bardstown to ride the Old KY Dinner Train, which in itself was a great experience. The Ramada is just across the street from the train, so its location was perfect for our needs. Shady business practices

I made a reservation by phone, secured with my credit card and was told nothing about a cancellation policy. It became necessary to cancel, 5 days before my reservation. The owner was not the least bit accomodating, and actually assumed a scolding manner toward me.
He did not even offer to not charge me if the rooms could be rented - somehow, this seems like something that would not be done by a national chain.
