NOT our favourite, not go again or recommend.We are a middle aged couple, taking a holiday without the children and this is our view of the hotel ....... Huge and spotless throughout and the staff are very helpful,...BUT... it is VERY impersonal, you are just one of hundreds. disappointing for an international hiltonwe have stayed at multiple category 5 and 6 hiltons throughout the u.s. and internationally. this was somewhat disappointing. there was construction on the floor above ours and we were woken up very early every morning of our 6 night stay by the noise. in addition, the a/c was not turned on yet for the season and it was unbearably hot in our room. ...5 of 5 Yahoo! WAS OKOK..well i got back yesterday from The Hilton Sorrento palace..overall the holiday and the hotel was ok but it definately needs to work on getting a good enteratiner in the evenings.
If one night you didnt fancy going down to the town and you felt like staying in the hotel to relax and enjoy the entertainmenn then you were sadly dissapointed!

Best Hotel On My TripI can't imagine a better hotel in Sorrento Italy. I loved the view of the ocean behind it. You could walk out behind it & just enjoy the view.
Our Hotel room was breath taking. Our balcony opened to a breath taking view of the ocean.
The food was very good.
It is a short distance from downtown also.

Highly recommendWe stayed at the Hilton Sorrento Palace for a week in October of 2006. The rooms, service, and the view were all excellent. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way for us on several occasions. We loved the location, and we'd definitely return.5 of 5 Yahoo! Fabulous, but...A great hotel which really did make the holiday!
However spoilt only on two seperate occasions by members of staff.
There was a mix up with the rooms which we felt was handled rather appallingly and when trying to sort it out with reception we felt we were spoken to rather rudely. Nice, but . . .We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June. Overall, this hotel is very nice. We stayed in the Club plus room which was roomy and well decorated. The Club lounge was great and offered snacks and drinks throughout the day. excellent timeWhen we arrived at The Hilton palace Hotel it was amazing!! We had gone to Sorrento in August 2004 to get married. After 2days of being there we were upgraded to a fantasic suite overlooking the the bay of naples. The hotel staff were superb, friendly and helpful. YES food and drinks are expensive, but if you want cheap holiday with no style then go to Benidorm!!
