We were told we were going to get a nicer room then we received. When confronted the upgraded us but still room not nice. 15 minute walk from main area.

Whilst this hotel has nicely furnished rooms and a fairly convenient location to the station, we found some of the staff could be quite condescending and rude. Rooftop pool is a great place to cool off with kids after a long day walking around Florence. Breakfast is also served on the rooftop overlooking the Duomo. Nice clean rooms, nice (although somewhat small) bathroom with good water pressure. Very nice staff. Walk along the river to center of town in a few minutes from this nice quiet neighborhood.
