my husband and I were extremely comfortable with the hotel amenities. the rooms are as gorgeous as they can be... people are very welcoming. the food was to die for. it was world class taste but had a middle class budget. It was a very friendly gay community

The best hotel. I can not wait to return to France and stay at the hotel again. Definately a place for romance. I fell in love with my wife there.

Although in a decent location the hotel is dated and is desperatley in need for a refurb. I stayed here on my honeymoon as it was the best value 5 star hotel. We even had the room in the brochure...old, dated and seedy. Look around Florence has many new , clean boutique hotels for the same money or less...

Do not be fooled the old world charm here is simply OLD
