Don't stay here

I have been alot places in the last two years
this was the worst by far. Very costy for what it is. The only thing it has GOING FOR IT is location.I'm sure they could not care less about a bad review.
The only place that I ever stayed that did not ask me HOW WAS YOUR STAY they didn't want to hear the answer. AS AMY WINEHOUSE would say no no no I won't go (again)

Get Real. This is Central Venice

This in any other major city scrapes 2 stars. Clean,pokey,friendly and basic. Expensive by comparison with all major cities.
But this is Venice and it is what you want. 1 minute walk to San Marco, 10 mins from everywhere interesting. Great priced mini bar, coffee, snacks, drinks whenever and safe and helpful.
They will arrange things for you and ...

Would not recommed this hotel

We went through a travel agent, and have since sugggested they do not recommend this hotel. The front desk was very rude, to four American women traveling alone. I would say the rooms were clean, but VERY NOISEY! We needed a private water taxi to take us to the airport, which they did arrange for at a very HIGH price, then we had to walk at 3:00 ...

Glass shopping

We stayed in this hotel at the end of October. The accomodations were fine. all though a bit over priced. I beg you not to follow their suggestion to arrange a glass trip to the Moreno Glass Factory operated by Signoretti. The boat trip to the island is wonderful. The bait and switch from the factory is troubling. What we bought, taking ...

Better than Expected

Traveling with a family of 4 we reserved a Quad Room. Expecting a barracks what we got was a suite with two very nice bedrooms and a common room. The staff was very helpful and arranged a complimentary private water taxi to Murano. The location is superb, just steps to San Marco.

OK but not great.

Although it was great to be just off the Piazza, the restaurant below our room was open quite late and was very noisy with people sitting outside right under our window.
We asked to be changed right after we got there but another room did not become available until the next day. That room was quiet but the mosquitoes tormented us! I think we would look elsewhere on our next trip.
