My family spent 7 nights at the Metropolitan Hotel. The staff was excellent and the location was 2 blocks from the city center. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and fresh every morning. The facilities were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Metropolitan Hotel again and Iceland is a wonderful country.

We had a very nice six days at the Metropolitan Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it is very clean (and recently renovated), the breakfast provides a range of nice choices, and coffee is always available. It is on a side street, a short walk (about a block) from the central square, and a couple of blocks from the dock where the tour boats sale from.
