Good location, free shuttle to the airport, nice pool and a great happy hour at the bar. Stay away from Denny's there's a restraunt across the street that that has good food and will deliver to your room. I usually stay here on my last night in town.

The hotel staff was very friendly.
Beware of the Denny's restaurant attached to the hotel.They take highway robbery to a new level.Better to take a 2 minute walk to the mini-mall (lower level)there you will find a tiny restaurant called 'el rinconcito casero' the food is very good and at very reasonable prices.
From this area you can also grab a taxi and will charge about 50% less than taxis located at the hotel.

Clean rooms, $5 cab to most of San Jose (if you barter or are a local), fun bar, nice Casino and pool. Been there twice, a year apart, and seemingly half the staff remembered. Will return.

The hotel is currently being upgraded. Washers and driers are being installed. The hotel is nice, clean and conveniently located. Restaurants, super market and other businesses are right around the corner. We enjoyed the tropical garden as well as the swimming pool and the jaccuzi.
