my wife and I were at the Ritz in February 2009...beautiful, flawlessly maintained property..wonderful staff, they just dont miss a beat at any time!! Sitting dead center on 7 Mile Beach doesn't hurt at all..stunning views and sunsets!!

The Sommelier, Harvey was excellent! He was friendly and well knowlegeable with wine and food selections. His attitude reminded me of the kind of service we used to experience back in the 80's, respectful, delightful and just sweet, sweeter than my favorite chocolate!

The accommodations were impeccable and the food and service were excellent. In our opinion the Ritz offers be best dining of any place on the island, although very costly (a glass of wine costs CI$17.00/US$20.40, plus 15% tip). If you intend to tour the island to any extent, rent a car rather than taking a taxi. The locals will love having you. Enjoy your visit.

We rented the Presidential Suite (one of 4 at this hotel) and an adjoining bedroom. We just got back from a 5 night trip. The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were always very friendly and quick to greet you. The rooms were your average size hotel room maybe a tad larger, but very well appointed. However, the beds were not the great just average. The Westin has the best beds.

The Ritz Carlton is the elite place to stay on the island. The hotel is new and it is a first class place to vacation. You will pay to play when you stay here but if you have the extra money it is worth every penny!!!
