LOVED the employees!!We absolutely loved the El Conquistador!! The employees were always helpful considering our Spanish was almost nill. The travel agency located inside the hotel was very helpful in making all of our tour arrangements. Our room was plain but VERY clean. Excellent valueWe have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past few months. Wach time the service was excellent and the room up to very high standards. The staff is very helpful and courtious. The only drawback that I can see is the parking and access during checkin. The valet service solves the parking problem but not the checkin. Enjoyed our stays.2 of 2 Yahoo! Comfort and convenience in MeridaThe El Conquistador is a nice hotel, not burdened by the high costs of luxury. It is in excellent location for business or tourist trips, yet is quiet comfortable.
The business center is adequate, with high speed internet connections.
The restaurant is excellent, with good service, nice food selection, and live music of the typical style.
