We were so happy to finally arrive in Estero, which was very beautiful! However, during our second night (we had planned a four day stay) I noticed both of my children itching while sleeping, I examined the bed and found what looked like spider nests on the sides of the bed. I immediately notified housekeeping (who did not speak english), so I went ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/07
It was great to stay at estero, the pool is beautiful and the food at the restaurant on eof the best in the area. Love to walk on the boardwalk and the clean rooms are great. It needs to improve on the water sometimes the showers have a smell.

What I like about this place is the location it makes you feel like you're in a far away place, with the rooms overlooking the water clean grounds and the mexican hospitality that is superb, and is just a hop away from San Diego " The best of the two worlds "

We are going back twice this year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/07
The hotel is great, clean with good service. Do not eat at the resturant...that is the only down side. Great location and things to do if you are adventurous. We bought a lot of great food and rum at the local super markets which have great Mexican deli sections.

This place was recommended to me by my aunt who lives in Ensenada. And I loved it here. The staff was very friendly and I loved waking up in the morning to a beautiful view of the sun shining over the beach. Can't wait to go back this year!!!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/07/07
I made my reservation over the phone 2 days prior to my arrival while I was traveling. My reservation was for a two queen bed room with ocean view for $100 a night plus tax. When I asked for directions I was told that it was about 6 miles past ensenada on hwy 1. There is a sign that if you don't pay attention you can easyly miss it reads ...

I like the location. It is away from the strip so it makes it more private. The service and the food are excellent. We received a dinner voucher, and the food was excellent. The drinks incredible along with the service. I love the fact there are no phones in the rooms.

What a find!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/06
I arrived not knowing what to expect but I will say that the Estero Beach Resort definitely impressed me. It is a quick drive from San Diego. It seems even shorter when you stop in Puerto Nuevo for some Lobster and a Margarita. The resort has a great restaurant onsite, so you don't have to leave the property. The rooms are simple but very ...
