We went with a group last August for a 4 night stay. The hotel lobby is beautiful, the rooms simple but comfortable, the museum nearby is fascinating, and the elk are around almost every morning and evening. The problem was the it was heavily infested with mice. Every night they would get into everything, even if you had no food in the room. ...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We have stayed at nearly every other location in the park and we really enjoyed this one. I would have prefered to have a room farther away from the bathrooms because of the noise. Overall it was a great stay
This hotel was great for our family! Although there aren't TVs and we didn't get our own bathroom, all we had to do was step out the front door of the hotel and there was always a Bison or Elk within 40 feet of us. What a wonderful place!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/07
What a beautiful place to stay while visiting Yellowstone! When we walked out the door Elk were EVERYWHERE! It was wonderful! The Hotel itself is beautiful beds were cozy and the service was greeat, the people the were very helpful and even gave us tips on wheree to see our first bear in the wild! We saw a sow (a mother) and her TWO cubs!
Not a nightlife place, but that is why you go to Yellowstone. Rooms are nicely restored, the sites around the park are incredible, the U.S. map inside the hotel is made of wood and covers a huge wall, absolutely amazing. Good food, and excellent place to discover Yellowstone from.
