great little hotel with peaceful calm atmosphere, helpful stuff, delicious restaurant and super shower. the room rates were fair for the area and while it may not be as grand as other hotels in Yellowstone, it is simple,clean and comfy which is all you need after a days sightseeing/ hiking.

The people are nice, the room was clean, front desk is open 24 hours, it's so peaceful outside. We were apprehensive after reading these reviews, but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It is too much money, It needs a WHOLE lot of improvement!! It needs a indoor pool, indoor spa, rooms with more rooms attached, like a kitchen and other bedrooms, it needs an office for guests to use, a fitness center, and it needs to get MUCH bigger!!!

Compares well to West Yellowstone establishments but the location and access to the parks features is much better. Rooms are basic but adequate as we didn't go there for the hotel.
