They saved the day for yet another flood victim! The room was just fine for an older hotel. However, THE GENERAL MANAGER, OWNER AND STAFF were super in light of all of us FEMA flood disaster victims that needed emergency accommodations. I will definitely return for a holiday!

Nice Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/07
Lots of people say that this place is old and dirty but me and my family went this weekend and had a great time. The spa treatments were great and the massage my husband got was great. I plan to attend again, but in the summer so we can enjoy the outside pool and walk around to enojoy the beatiful woods.

A Nice Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/06
I originally visited this resort in 1994. My husband and I attended the New Year's Eve festivities. We were impressed by the atmosphere - the snowy slopes, the open and inviting fireplace in the lobby, the spa, the grounds, and the Sunday brunch. The location is close enough to Chicago to be a viable escape, and the price is low enough to be ...

OK, But....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/06
Seems like a place to have some fun - nice pool, liked the dress boutique. Rick's Restaurant food was OK, but service was rushed and poor. I would stay at resort again, but would go elsewhere for a nice dinner. Room a tad dingy - no bedspread, injured my foot on metal bar sticking out from twin bedsprings supporting king mattress. Final flaw: asked for a wake up call that never came....

No it's not Kohler or Aveda but the services are good, the location is close to shopping or antiquing, not far from Chicago, and the rooms are clean (more like Holiday Inn than The Four Seasons). The inclusion of food in the package is a great bonus so ...

turned a deaf ear to a legitimate charge dispute. I cancelled a stay and was given a cancellation number but weeks after I must have thrown it away.

When can we go back???
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/05
I really enjoyed my stay. I came with a group, but I enjoyed my individual activities. I had massages and enjoyed the Spa amenities altogether. The food was great and for the package we had, I couldn't believe it! I definitely want to go back. It's definitely affordable and conveniently located.

Olympia Resort is a beautiful and cozy hotel. It is very clean and the service is great. A little distant from Milwaukee, however It is well worth the drive.
