Morrison House changed ownership in Fall of '06. It was privately-owned now it is a Kimpton property. It seems as though every week there is a new cost- cutting measure that the wonderful employees have to deal with. The staff is outstanding. I cannot say the same for the management at this time.

A truly incredible experience. We were greeted in the lobby w/wine; taken to our room where the check-in paperwork was awaiting us. Within an hour of our check-in, the entire staff somehow knew our names. Absolute top-notch service, beautiful rooms--will always stay here when in D.C.

Only complaint was the bar--it's obviously only for locals. Very minor complaint; able to find alcohol elsewhere!
