I have never before reviewed any hotel ever. And I don't stay in nice hotels or have a sense of entitlement.
I am telling you this place is terrible. First of all there is not reason why in this day and age I should pay 10 dollars a day for wireless just because a hotel is too cheap to offer it. That sort of corner cutting mentality pevades ...

Spacious room, well kept and clean, with refrigerator and microwave in the most convenient location, at "the Corner" with restaurants and 2 blocks to the Rotunda; bus and free trolley passing by; coffee, tea and cocoa in the lobby at all times; also wifi connection and a computer desk in room. Reasonable priced. Decor and color scheme not the best. During or right after a major college weekend could be a different scene.

Could not have asked for better service: friendly staff, free shuttle to UVA hospital, large clean comfortable room. Located next to college campus and near very good restaurants.

The lobby was very inviting and the parking garage was much appreciated on this rainy day! The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I needed a early checkin for an appointment and they happly checked me in.
