The Worthington is a lovely hotel. A while back, their Sunday Brunch was a grand Brunch in every sense of the word. Located on 'the bridge' overlooking Fort Worth with an elegant atmoshpere well worth the trip. Now however, it has been relegated to a small restaurant with no view. The brunch is equivalent to a normal breakfast buffet. ...
I'm about to visit this hotel again (a year since my last visit) and I'm anxious to see if they have improved on some of the things I didn't like last visit.
When you are staying multiple days and you access the in-room internet, they automatically keep billing you every 24 hours whether you access it again or not. I found this out ...

we were there for 10 days. We scheduled a wakeup call for 8am and didn't wake up until the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 9:30am. Another day they turned off the water all day from 10am until 4pm and didn't warn us. Acutally, they claimed to put a note in the rooms but we never found it. Offered to let us shower at a hotel down the ...

50th wedding anniversary
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/08
We love the area and the hotel is beautiful. The people who work there are the cream of the crop. Our thanks to all who made our anniverary a wonderful memory.
We like staying at the Worthington because we love staying right in the hear of downtown. It is absolutely beautiful there. And the selection of shops and restaurants have really expanded. Fort Worth's Nicest Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
th Floor Club Level, It's the way to go. We have stayed many times over the past 6 or 7 years. Attention to detail, location, resturant choices, and the service all add up to a perfect week end get away.
The historic Worthington Hotel, set in the beautifully renovated, downtown Fort Worth, is a bastion of quiet elegance. The staff, the interiors, and the drink and food offerings afford guests an experience of hospitable comfort and personal well-being.
The Worthington preserves a time-honored tradition of Texas affluence and grace.
I loved staying there. The only problem I had was with the price of parking. I think it is a little steep compared to Dallas, Austin, and Houston. 18.00 for Valet per day!!! After taxes it was likt $19.50 and then tipping! WOW! Great location and great service though so overall it was worth every penny!

VERY HELPFUL STAFF.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/07
Yes, so helpful that someone from the staff helped themselves to all my jewelery. Granted it wasn't in my safe, it was in my suitcase....
After dealing through many phone calls, nothing was done for me or to the staff member that took it.
I was told that on the back of the room door there is a notice to put all valuables in the safe, ...
