Having just moved to Dallas from San Francisco, we were looking forward to experiencing Chef Dan Fearing's renowned food. We chose to dine on Valentine's Day and had the special five-course menu.
I was apprehensive about the service, as I had heard that it tended to be very snooty and inattentive. Well, it was very friendly but actually ...

Exceptional service

The Mansion at Turtle Creek was such a relaxing place to visit while on a hectic business trip. The staff is very accomodating and the service is top notch. Small extras like the fabulous freshly made cocoa and cookies in the afternoons or the Bose Wave Radios in each room make the difference here. The hotel is quiet, decor is tasteful and elegant and service is great.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and catered to our every need. Shopping is nearby and they'll take you there in their car service! I would recommend anyone going to Dallas to stay here!

The Best Ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/05
This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We have traveled across the country and stayed at all 5 star hotels and this one is the very best. Everything about it, the service was just excellent. Everything was and we will go back because our daughter lives near and that will give us an excuse to travel back the the Mansion.

OUTRAGEOUSLY OVERRATED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/05
The restaurant is great, but the hotel leaves A LOT to be desired. Room was not that nice, dirty, and way overpriced. The staff was neither friendly nor helpful - some were inept and even rude. Extremely disappointing stay - don't waste your money - there are FAR better places to spend it.

Can't wait to tell others of lousy service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/03/05
I called at 9:30 PM on Wednesday nite to make a reservation at the restaurant. After being on hold for 15 minutes with the same stupid message telling me I am important, I hung up, called again, asked if the restaurant was open, which it supposedly was, I had them transfer my call again and again for 15 minutes got the same message. There is a ...

Can you say WOW

This was a wonderful experience. My husband and I stayed there on our wedding night. The service was excellent. We even got a special treat of chocolate covered strawberries brought to our door as a congratulations!
