First off, if value is what you want, then the La Kiva is the motel for you. The breakfast is awsome, the staff is very friendly, the location is wonderful, and it is a clean motel. There maybe a few things that need updating,it's not the newest motel in Amarillo,however, for the overall price, it is very well priced, and I am staying there again on 3-27-08, looking forward to the relaxation.

Unfortunately the walls are very thin and the hotel and highway traffic was very noisy, Decor was very old, cigarette burns on the bedspread, and the toilet leaked. Not a very good value for the money. Breakfast was great.

We have a large family. Most hotels wanted an arm and a leg for their suites. La Kiva was amazing for the price. Pool and spa quite dirty, but kids still enjoyed.

I disliked the fact that our sleep was continously interrupted because of the all night partying of the other guests and that included underage drinking. If you want a hotel that is 5 star then go pay the 100.00 a night. If you want a hotel that fits within a tight budget then this is your place. to say this is a quality hotel is an understatement. not everything was perfect but the staff tried there very best to help. The atmaspher was exelent. will stay there any and all times I am in Amarillo

The entry may seem ok to the novice, but wait until you enter the rooms. We changed rooms five times. Filthy linen, bedbugs, noise from the A/C, no phone line, no phone,
no lock on the atrium door, dirty bathtub. Someone ought to call the Health Department. La Kiva is THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. The Night Manager was extremely rude! AVOID AT ALL COST! To say this is a rat hole would be unfair to the rats!
