the towels were stained, the sheets had cigarette burns on them, i had a wet floor for 2 weeks before management decided to fix the leaks from upstairs. cable tv sucked. not many channels. the wireless internet was a joke. and to top it off, i had a mouse in my room. would not advise anyone to stay here. pay a little more and go down the street to cherry ln for a nice hotel. believe me you won't regret your decision.

I booked a room with this hotel through orbitz.com which they would not honor. I ended up having to stay in another hotel and American Inn still charged my card for one night. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and a dispute with my credit card company. By the way, its also right across the street from a strip club

Comfortable room, clean. Good breakfast. Plenty of ice. Kind of hard to get to, but located near a mall. Very good value.

Didn't live up to the one glowing review I read. We left something and had a difficult time getting back...didn't have time to look...we had go phone them repeatedly to get any response...not able to ship..okay, we'll be there in 5 hours...don't have it, have to come back tomorrow, lied to us, changed mind, rude, had to pay a $10 ...

I liked the place. The owners are respectful and honest. I like the fact that they protect their property from "illegal" activities. The rooms are nice inside and the sheets are obviously replaced every after a guest stayed there. I recommend this Inn.

We chose this motel in January and again in July; won't go again. It is very convenient to our destination and the least expensive place around.

American Inn is close to the Joint Reserve Air Base (lotsa planes around one of our trips), to Ridgemar Mall, and to Carswell Federal Prison, but there is not much else in the area.

The management was rude and curt to me on the phone when I tried to cancel.... They have a motel policy of charging one night stay if you have to cancel----The 24 hour rule! The internet service is equally to blame for this bad treatment. I say they have this rule because they don't have enough business otherwise. I wish I had looked up ...

I agree with the above post. The place is nasty nasty, had roachs in the bathroom, the sheets looked like they had been slept on, the carpets are oily & dirty. Then management had the balls kicked us out because my brother was visiting our room to discuss funeral arrangements for a friend. This place needs to be shut down!
