Not a good second honeymoon place!From the pics. online looks good , but to expensvie for the rom.ance pkg.Old room, wood won't burnin n fireplc.. 2 old chairs to sit in no comfty sitting area. room small. DANGEROUS, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!First of all, the first night ok, room was dirty even found a bullet in our room on the floor, which was not cleaned. Coffe maker did not work, either did the tv half the time. To top it off, our room was broken into from the balcony from the door that joins the other room, someone had busted it to come in and stole my rings and wedding rings. ...1 of 1 Yahoo! Plan to go back next yearWe had a great time. The rooms were great, clean & well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The location was just inside Gatlinburg and we were able to walk or ride easily. We stated three nights and enjoyed them all. We really enjoyed the river view from our balconey. Disappointed in Appearance and MaintenanceWe stayed at this hotel because of it's location to Gatlinburg, the fireplace and the balcony view. However, once inside I was sadly disappointed in the upkeep of the room. The border paper was torn off the wall in places and in other places was completely removed or torn. Going backStayed here in January as the one that we stay in is closed in the winter. Was very clean and the staff was very frendly. There was 5 of us in one room (2 children)and the room did not seem small at all. Had a room that overlooked the river and the view was freat. Great for family reunionWe had a family reunion with 42 children and adults. The hotel bent over backwards to make out stay enjoyable. The conference room had a piano and we had guitars---A great time was had by all. A great value for the money. Location was great for young and old with different activities.4 of 4 Yahoo! How sweetOur car broke down near the inn so we stayed for the night. The place was so comforting!! It was clean and incredibly relaxing. The balcony is worth the short walk to downtown. Or if your not up for a walk the trolley is only 50 cents and it will pick you up here. Praise JESUS for places like this!!!3 of 3 Yahoo! Quiet, yet in GatlinburgRocky Waters Addition--across the bridge hugging the mountain--offers amazing solitude while being close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cozy (but large) rooms and the chance to enjoy the balcony over the river make up for the entirely too small bathroom. Could not wait to get out of there!I booked this hotel because of the good reviews it received. That was a mistake!
The hotel was noisy from street traffic, the towels were like sandpaper the carpet was dirty and the room looked nothing like the pictures. The room cost me a $100.00. pictures deceivingThe rooms are small,dirty,poorly staffed,The whirpool is next to bed,continental breakfast is at the days inn accross the river at least a 1/2 mile walk,parking is almost impossible.The hotel needs to be remodeled.Did not restock room properly. we will not stay there again.
