Found this place while searching the web. My neighbor and I stayed at the Highlands last year and we enjoyed everything about it. It is very clean and beautifully decorated. We are both in our sixties and we had a very easy time transporting the wood up to our condo in the elevator. The ashes from the fireplace was cleaned up by the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone. We found it very safe also. The staff is great.

We just returned from The Highlands. What can I say? Great value, unbelievable views (we stayed in room 801), clean rooms, friendly people.
We even saw bears and deer from our balcony!!
Our family will definately be coming back!

We loved the Highlands because of it's convenience to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It is only a short drive to both yet you still get the calming atmosphere of the mountains. I love the room,I love the fireplace that we used every night while we were there,they even supply the firewood and leave it outside your front door.The view from the deck is outstanding,we even had someone get married out on the lawn while we were there.I just happened to stumble on this location via the web and am I glad I did. This is the only place that we stay at when we come to Gatlinburg. We will be back again in October.

We have been staying at the Highlands for over 10 years now. There is no better place to stay. We have even stayed in a luxury cabin and found that we didn't enjoy it as much as we did the Highlands.
