This place is a heaping pile of steaming dog turds!!!!!! Broken furniture, glass doors that do not lock, and wobbley, shakey beds that appear to be donated from goodwill ! The smell when you enter the halls will take your breath, something like urineals at a homeless shelter. Do not stay here, find anything else. Sleeping in a ditch full of rotting corpses is a much better option!!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/07
This was the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. The place was dirty and smelled. Our balcony door was not attatched to the room (it was leaning against the railing) The doors on the exterior were not locked and were missing handles. The dressers in the room were falling apart and missing their handles. There was no toilet paper dispenser. ...
While the hotel is only 10 minutes away from Parris Island it is absolutely disgusting. The entire room was dirty, including the bedsheets! Stay anywhere but there.
NO-SMOKING the smoke would have made the place smell better.Maid service was the worst. The only clean place was the front desk. Rooms smelled like mold and the carpets were sticky wouldnt even let our grand child on the floor in one room. HJ needs to remove its logo from this place. If they gave our money back i would have it cleaned

Should be shut down by the department of health!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/07
This place was beyond disgusting! I believe the department of health would shut it down if they inspected it. There were holes, mold, bugs, dust, hair, and stains everywhere! The place was so old and unliveable. It was in a dump. All the landscaping was overgrown and weedy. We could barely walk from the car to the room with all the tree ...

Dirty, Old, and Terrible Customer Service!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/07
Building and room was disgusting!!! I would never go again. It was located on a gross marsh land area. I requested a non-smoking room, but the hallway was full of smoke! The bedding and towels had stains all over them. The carpet was nasty! The furniture was very old and in poor condition. My tv remote did not work. The front desk people were rude. The pool was closed in the middle of summer!
Hotel was convienent to Beafort, but in serious need of up dating. Carpet, furniture, paint, fixtures, everything in room excet the beds were not only old, but in poor condition. (Beds were comfortable and appeared clean) Also a weird smell through out hotel. Would not stay there again!

The hotel and room were clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. There wasn't much parking but the location was convenient for us. The hotel was very out dated and the free continental breakfast was a joke.

The room numbers are in very small print on the outside of the building. In the dark it was hard to locate our room.
Once we opened the door the smell of cat urine was overwhelming. The carpet was dirty, stains were all over the walls and ceiling. The dresser that held the t.v. was caving in and there was no screen in the sliding door so ...
