The Biltmore started off to be an ok place until I walked off the elevator and into my room. The floor I stayed on definitely smelled like it had been renovated. When I walked into my room I found the bathroom to be small. If you need countertop space, you won't be getting it in a standard room here (pedestal sink and thin glass shelf above ...

Great Location, Great food

The location is great. I stayed in the Junior Oversized suite, lots of space, 2 tvs (on 42 inch flat screen) staff was helpful. The seafood restaurant on the first floor is very nice, great food. Starbucks is also good. Beds were very comfortable. Parking is tricky, Valet is the best way to go.

Bed Bugs !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/06
I stayed at the Biltmore in mid-October 2006. There were bed bugs in my bed! FYI, I stayed in a room on the third floor. Need I say more?
When I made my reservation, I thought the Biltmore would be a wonderful addition to my trip. Nope. The service at the front desk was slow. The junior suite was nice, initially. Then I realized the 1900's radiator was on blast furnance. I turned it down but then it began making loud noises. So I turned the radiator back to where it was ...

Don't ask for Felix Santana, Front Office Manager
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/06
My room was $250/night and it was right next to the elevator which have a floor chime. All night long, the bell chimed. There were many hairs on the floor in my bathroom. I had no hot water or water pressure. The thermostat in my room was broken, so my room was freezing. When I spoke to the front desk manager, Felix Santana, about the problems, his attitude was that the hotel was full and these wer my issues

Misleading Website

Not all the rooms are 600sq ft. I was extremely dissappointed by the Biltmore, $22 per night parking, Cramped Room and Bathroom, The only mirror was in the Bathroom. The architecture inside is beautiful, but due to its historic nature there are few amenities. No Pool or rec. the so called fitness room was small with only a couple pieces of ...

Just say NO!!!

Don't bother to plan ahead so that you are sure to get what you want. Don't bother to confirm before going either. Nothing you do will help, they will bump you in a heartbeat. After reserving a month in advance, and confirming days ahead, after checking in (not even while standing at the front desk), you will find youself put into any ...

When my two daughters & I stayed last summer the Biltmore had recently been remodled and was even nicer than the first time I was there about 4 years ago before my daughter started school in Providence.
