I stayed here for a bachelorette party and the rooms were a terrific size and so close to anywhere in downtown philly that we wanted to go to. I would definitely go back again.
It is a good location with GREAT Beds. The staff is not overly friendly but with a little probing you can get the Sheraton Promise which may include an upgraded room; or free drinks , or additional hotel points. The price is very resonable to B in the heart of olde city night life.

All around good place

Nice place. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool, room service, and cab rides to different spots in the city. Good location with lots to do and see around. All the amenities of a top shelf hotel. The people who worked there were very nice. Highly recommend it.

Charming hotel with an excellent pool and spa area. The rooms are on the small side.
Location is key here. You are well within walking distance to Philadelphia's history and the staff is willing to help you navigate it. Recommended for families.
I don't know what Sheraton Society Hill these other people were staying at, but it must have been in a parallel universe. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights, and everything was fine. Traveling with 5 teenagers isn't easy! Sure, the parking was expensive -- we knew that ahead of time, they don't make a secret of it. We dropped off our bags ...
There have been a lot of mixed reviews about the Sheraton Society Hill on tripadvisor, so I was a little nervous about staying there. However, after staying there for three days July 14-17, I was relieved. The hotel is in a great location. There is no argument here. It is within walking distance of everything and it is right by the Delaware. ...

The hotel is not what the reviews state at all. The staff is definetly NOT friendly. The front desk would rather talk to their coworkers than to help the guest check in (who happens to be standing in front). The housekeeping doesn't come clean the room, they only clean rooms in the late afternoon, so you have to try to run into someone to ...
We loved our experience @ the Sheraton Society Hill. It was just the right size, the staff was excellent and the room was very clean. But best off all it was so close to everything in the Historical District and the Riverfront. We were there on July 4, 2004 for my birthday & July 4th. We walked to the riverfront...a few short steps from the ...

Already planning our next trip!

The hotel met or exceeded all of our expectations! It was our first time in Philly with our children, ages 5 and 7 and we couldn't have asked for a better location. We were within easy walking distance of the Libery Bell, Franklin Museum and Constitution Hall. Even though it was hot, the short distance made it an easy tourist day.
