I saw a few bad reviews here and was surprised. I feel badly that these folks had such a bad time. I have stayed here probably 25 times and love this hotel. I always have great experiences with the room - staff - restaurants and I love the location - quiet area of dock and second - lots of restaurants and art galleries on second and third streets ...

Picked this hotel for 2 reasons, it was in the starwood group and location ... meeting friends for a local wedding. Pros: Great location! Walking distance to all historical sights and very nice restaurants. Staff was friendly.

Cons: Expected nicer room for the price paid for our July visit. Air conditioner did not work properly. $25 a day to park. Room was musty and needed updating. Pool wasn't so nice. Just too expensive for what you get and would not recommend.

Everything was pretty good but a little far from downtown. The employees were very friendly and glad to help with anything that we nedded, and the food was excellent.

it is not disturp, if you know just see and live during your life and see differences between others, like quality ....I believe you must see

I stayed there for a couple days.I liked the way the hotel staff treated the guests.
The valets were courtious and treated you respectfully and politely.
The hotel itself is ideally located if you have a couple day's work in center city Philly---It is the place to stay.And they always ran some promo or the other.

We got this hotel on a Friday night super cheap via hotwire. Very close to Old City and off the beaten track so not a million tourists. If you want Walnut Street high end shopping or Rittenhouse square, walk about 1/2 hour but worth it because this place is good and cheap!

the beauty , the setting, the decor, the service, the food , the little extras in rooms all made our family so welcome and also we aranged a reunion with other family members there and all was a great success becaue it is so easily accessible.

....and great size beds. Service staff was attentive. Front desk was quick to resolve any problems, minimal as they were. Recommended for those who want a short walking distance to historic Society Hill or South Street.
