This is a nice, historic hotel, with a location that was within walking distance of the Soverign Center, where our figure-skating event was being held.
The rooms were clean and furniture, time period appropriate. The staff was very nice and helpful.
If I go to Reading again, for this event, I'll stay there again.
Nice hotel located in downtown reading. Garage parking available for $5/day. Resturaunt was nice. Overall one of the better hotels I have stayed at. We only stayed 2 nights.

Very impressive hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/06
Beautiful historic hotel with lovely architecture, huge rooms (the public areas are very historic while the rooms are big, modern and have MANY amenities). This is a grand old hotel that has been restored to enhanced and combine the modern and old. It was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and reasonable. Downside was that we were unaware of the parking fee - only $5.00 but we would have liked to have known about it. Parking is in a secure convenient garage. Definitely would stay here again.

It has an attractive lobby and pleasant, relaxing bar. However, I have stayed there when I could reserve a room far enough in advance to get the ...
