I just got back from a stay at the Millennium UN Plaza. We were in room 3334 and the view was absolutely amazing!! Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building were right outside the window!!
The hotel itself was ok.....but I will stay there everytime I go to NYC just because the view is so great. Location is VERY easy to get to driving and the valet parking was very convenient and reasonably priced (46.00 a day).
Loved it. Very nice staff. Great pool and wonderful view. For NYC I felt it was a wonderful experience. I lived it NYC for 6+ years and feel this hotel is a bargain for the $.

A Shocking Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/07
The hotel was awesome in appearance - and the staff most friendly... It was however appalling to have my favorite sweater 'missing' when it was time to pack to go home... especially since I had not had room service!
[Since your hotel uses 'Smart Key', the explanation given me as to when & where the sweater was eventually ...

Not worth the $

After reading the initial reviews on this place, I was pretty excited to go. However, I was dissapointed from the moment we stepped in the lobby. The man working at the front desk was one of the rudest people I have encountered in NYC. Our room was really small and badly designed. The bed was terrible. Overall, I would say that I had a much better experience a few years ago at the Grand Hyatt, just a few blocks away.
Great location, much better than we originally thought from a map. Fantastic, stylish large room with wonderful view. Helpful staff. Initially thought the room was expensive, but after staying in another hotel ($30 a night less) on the return leg of our trip we REALLY wished we'd returned here!

Disappointing

When my guest and I arrived at the hotel and checked in to our room, our room had not been cleaned and prepared for our arrival. The beds were unmade and the bathroom was not cleaned. We did not want to wait for our room to be prepared, so we opted to accept the only other room available which was a smoking room. We asked if the pool was still ...

Great Deal

My boyfriend and I spent 6 nights at this hotel in august 2006 and we're willing to come back this summer too. For NY standards our room (located on 37th floor) was big and comfortable, the view from the room was a-m-a-z-i-n-g, we had view of both the chrysler and the empire state building and at night the view is breathtaking. The hotel is ...

The staff in the restaurant, and the hotel are bad. The hotel staff is unfriendly, and discourteous to coustomers. The rooms are the worst thing ever.

My best hotel experience in a long time!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/06
I arrived at 2 AM, the night staff were wonderfully welcoming, expedited the check-in and upgraded my room joking that I might as well enjoy the 5 hours I had to stay there. The view from the suite was breathtaking, the bed and pillows very comfortable and the two baths had great lighting. Checking out was a dream--fast and friendly!
With a little research, this hotel is a pretty good value for NYC. The views are wonderful and the amenities are pretty good. Don't however rely on a refrigerator (Although if you empty the minbar you can keep some things cool!) and towels seem rationed.
The room is clean and the king sized bed was adequate. Whatever you do DO NOT use the ...
