most disappointing

The grounds were gorgeous, the outside of the mansion was stunning...But beyond that...I have never experienced such substandard service for this type of nightly rate. My cousin got married there this last weekend....Not even the bride's mother got the accomodations she paid for...("We reserved a room, but 2 double beds is certainly not ...

A very nice hotel located in a beautiful quiet area. The food and dining experience was excellent. The staff are all pleasant and freindly. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying on the west end of Long Island.

Loved it at The Pub.
Never knew it was open to the public.
Managers are great and service is very good
You should advertise such a beautiful place.

Great amenities, service needs help

I have stayed at the hotel many times (since it was called the Harrison House) as it is close to family and friends. The amenities are plentiful and the food is OK. However, the front office seems aloof and have a certain "air" about them that is offputting. I wouldn't mention it were this not a recurring attitude.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, it's location is fantastic; secluded yet central to restaurants and shopping. The grounds are stunning, especially at night with all the lighted fountains and trees. The room was spotless and well appointed. Although you may have to walk to get to ...
