We appreciated the friendly service...the front desk clerks were very helpful in answering our many questions about Ruidoso and the surrounding area.
The location is awesome...the view is fantastic.

we were very disappointed. Rooms are very dated, halls smell like urine and the air conditioner is a wall unit and will not cool the whole room is not big enough. The room was very hot

This hotel is very poorly maintained. The room smelled of raw sewage. The ceilings and carpets were stained. Wood railings and other wood surfaces are in dire need of paint. I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

After arriving at the Swiss Chalet for our long awaited "girls trip", we were a little dissapointed. The online pics were very deceiving and we were severly overcharged (the marquee stated $69/night- we paid $120 online for the same room).
