Even with the confirmation from yahoo, my reservation was not made for Havana Tower. I also had to spend three nights in the smoking room when my request was for non-smoking.

every time my mom and i make reservations, and request a certain place in the casino to stay, they accomadate us. i have never had a bad experience with anyone working there. all that we have come in contact with has been very friendly and courteous. we try to make it to trop at least 2-3 times a year.

Reserved a king non-smoking room-but was forced to take a non-king room with two beds, 45 minute check-in, no map provided of internal facilities,no free internet, front desk asked for ID in addition to the credit card yet the invoice grossly mispelled the town of residence.

My friends and I made a reservation and they lost our reservation. The staff was very rude to us and tried to tell us that it was our fault. They eventually found a room, and it was beautiful, but it just wasn't worth the hassle.

The hotel was fine but check-in was not the way it should have been. The front desk person did not have a record of the reservation. He was helpful but it took more time than usual because the reservation was not in their system.

The Atlantic City NJ Trop's customer service is the worst I have seen for a large hotel. I did have warnings before my visit which I don't know why I ignored. It all started when I tried to make reservations on their website. The date I wanted to arrive kept giving an error message. So, I called the toll free number. It was 4 minutes ...

The Tropicana isn't the best, but if you have your heart set on staying on the boardwalk and are on a budget, it's a decent choice. The rooms are a bit run down (although there is a new tower - haven't stayed there). The location is a little inconvenient for some of the other boardwalk hotels...it's all the way on the south end of ...
The new tower looks nice, but the 3 old ones are nondesript glass and steel boxes. The buffet closes at 8, the 24 hour place (with food that would make a roadside diner look bad) now closes at 10, and there's a line a mile long, and Corky's BBQ also closes early. It's impossible to get a decent meal after a show, except for room ...
