Are you sure we're in Atlantic City?

I questioned whether I was in Atlantic City until the smell of stale smoke and polyester cafeteria lady pants hit my nose. But if you have a weak sense of smell, but strong eyes, the Trop has stepped up to the plate. Great restaurants keep opening and a Cuban theme to the place give it a Vegas feel.

False Alarm Fire Alarms

The food was very good, but expensive.
The rooms was very large and clean.
We had a very unpleasant experience, someone set off the fire alarm at 2:00 a.m. we had to go down 23 flights of steps, only to find out it was a false alarm. When asked what they would do about it, they gave us nothing!

Everything about this hotel was five star. The friendliness and the professionalism of the staff was superb. They made you feel like royalty. Among the thousands of people that I'm sure they service each and every day,they still had enough energy left for us. Tropicana is the Place to be

The room was ready on time as specified. The accomodations were just as requested. The view from the room was wonderful. The rates are very comfortable.
The location was convenient in reference to vendors,restaurants and sightseeing, and shopping. This will always be by choice of hotels for my Atlantic City getaways.

good perks for first timers

The Tropicana was a very nice place to visit
we didn't stay there but will next time. I enjoyed the gifts for first time visitors who get a players card. my husband was given the vip status he has at other casinos (nice).. ready to go back..

The Quarter at the Trop is fantastic. Great stores and restaurants. Highly recommend Cuba Libre restaurant.

Indoor pool in the South Tower was OK. A bit small, but served its purpose.

Casino needs to be updated. Lots of old machines that still pay in coins (seemed like a majority of machines paid in coins). Also saw a lot of machines ...

Bad: I thought I had a reservation but there was no record of it.Good:They accommodated me and gave me the price I had reserved it for. Bad: one valet was rude. I LOVE the Tropicana

I LOVED the Tropicana. We stayed in the West Tower which is close to the Casino. We loved the Karaoke bar. The Trop has 2 clubs, a Hooters and other restaurants along with several bars/lounges with live entertainment and DJ's I would definately go there again. If you plan to go to Cuba Libre(club at the hotel)they have a very strict dress code.

Check-in has always been hassle-free & relatively quick. Rooms are clean. Beds are very comfortable. Room service is good, as well as the cleaning staff. Shopping is close.
