If you don't gamble, stay home. Bad food, bad air laden with cigarette smoke. Very, very confusing layout. Just try to find a newspaper or a magazine. Newstand had about 5 magazines. Ocean view? Rooms face the city and the city is a dump. Check in is a zoo, worse than airport check in. Would not recommend to anyone.

Didn't like the fact that at check-in I was told that i was booked in a smoking room, after two prior telephone conversation confirming the request for a Non-smoking room. staff corrected the situation at the check-in. Still was a bit uncomfortable.

I did not actually stay there, because the dates I needed were booked but spent a lot of time there. It is a great Hotel/Cascino. It has 21 eateries, cascino, high end shops. The employees are wonderful and it is soo alive with all types of people that are ready/willing to have a great time. The night life is unbelievable!!!

I have been coming to the Tropicana for about 15 years and just love it. My favorite place to eat is the Seaside Cafe. The staff and service is outstanding along with the food. As far as the casino itself it has been the luckiest spot on the strip for me and just recently I took my son there for the first time and he was so impressed that he is planning on going back to the Tropicana because it was by by his favorite casino in Atlantic City.
