I have stayed at the Peppermill twice. The first time I had no problems--good service, clean room.... This time around I had trouble from the outset. I arrived late on my check-in day and they had no rooms available. Fortunately, they put me in a suite. Unfortunately, I had only 6 hrs to enjoy it before I was off to business and I had to pack ...

Adequate and comfortable - nothing fancy...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/05
The Peppermill was a reasonable place to stay. We got it through a promotional deal in combination with round trip airfare.
The location was better, in my opinion, than the hotel/casinos in crowded downtown Reno since the Peppermill in located on South Virginia St. with plenty of parking and easy access all around.
The room was clean but ...

A GREAT ROOM!
By Warren, 01/28/05
The imperial suite was awesome. Big, comfy bed, 2 tv's, high speed internet, great jacuzzi. Fireside bar offers lots of fun. Most of all, friendly staff. Very affordable! Highly recommend.

Pure Casino - not Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/07/05
Hotel is far away from the main casino district. Cigarette smoke smell is all over - even on non-smoking floors. Food is extremely expensive! Rooms are kind of dark due to black furniture/carpets!

Average casino hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/04
Casino and hotel. Paid extra for a deluxe spa room which was OK. Decor is typical casino (lots of lights and mirrors... ok if you like that kind of thing). Casino was ok but no entertainment. The "cabaret" was only entertainment but it was basically a small stage with a small band in a bar and was pretty pathetic. I was irritated ...

Best in Reno, hands down
By mike_brawley, 04/06/04
Just finished a 5 day stay at the Peppermill in Reno where the ABC Bowling tournament is underway. Had a spectacular Jacuzzi suite room, upgraded caused I got my team to stay there. But I checked all the rooms the team had and they were all nice. No trains going through the room at night like downtown. The staff was great, the food is always the ...
