It's no Wynn...but it's better than Tropicana!Well, first of all the Flamingo's location on the strip can NOT be any better! It even has the monorail station. I was quite worried when I saw all the reviews about the nasty rooms and that maid's didnt come and that the staff was terrible! all those reviews are WRONG.Only the pool was nothing exciting. after 20 yrs sorry but never againthe staff at tropical breezes are the best...since harrah's took over comp system has gotten horrible...the only good thing is the location...the rooms were not that clean--need a major redo..pool is still good but could be cleaner...vip services leaves a lot to be desired...could not book at show that was not on one of their properties when i ...5 of 6 Yahoo! We will always stay at the FlamingoWe stayed at the Flamingo in the Go Room May 10th-may 15th 2009.
The Hotel Casino is a bit smokey, but so are a lot of others.
The Pool is great and we used it every day, just get there early, if you want a chair right by the water. Drink Service is fast. Everyone that we had contact with was helpfull and friendly.

Flamingo is just fine...As one of the previous reviewers stated most of the reviews on here on exaggerations of people who had a bad trip in Las Vegas. Most of it depends on your personality. The Flamingo is getting relatively old with all the new construction on the strip, NOTE: That is why you pay between $50-$200 less per night. Do yourself a favor and not stay thereThe rooms are dirty and when you complain the front desk act like you are beneath them. Dirty dishes sit out in the halls all day and the halls smelled like garbage. The bathroom cabinet I could take my finger nail and scrape the dirt and all the front desk could say was that the cleaning women must have missed it the day before. I told him that ...8 of 13 Yahoo! we will try it againmy wife and I have stayed at the flamingo at least four times and the last stay was not up to the previous times. the rooms looked a little beat and the elevators needed a little sprucing up but the location is great and my wife won at single deck blackjack so we will be back6 of 8 Yahoo! Will never stay at the Flamingo hotel again!My husband & I are frequent visitors to Las Vegas, but this was our first time staying at the Flamingo hotel & it will be our last! We would never recomment this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Vegas.

Front Desk Agent Tells You Like It IsFace it people, you only get what you pay for, here or at only hotel on the strip. I'll set you straight and you won't be disappointed. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, so if you arrive at 9:00 AM and are told to store your bags, don't take it out on the employees. It's written on your travel documents. Worst Hotel In Vegas!This Hotel was a dump! Food and utensils remained in the halls for days the carpet was stained, the bathrooms were dirty, and the food was terrible!
