My Wife and i stayed there in april found the room very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull.The gaming tables were staffed with friendly and helpfull crews .We had heard a lot of negative things about the EL CORTEZ we found none to be true on our stay,all though it's not your more up scale hotel casinos it's prices are not ethier you get more than you pay for in value. will be back soon.

was an older place but they are doing some remodling, we were there for only one night but i really injoyed the room it was a good size, have to watch where you get your, can't remember that part, was not the main building, but overall i really like the old place.

The El Cortez is a pleasant surprise and just a short walk away from the main drag downtown. It was the best value I have ever had in LV.

Old downtown Vegas-type place, perfect if you want to do it on the cheap. NOT a place for non-smokers. Guest room was clean and large enough; rest of the hotel was rather drab.

The room was very nice. The furniture,decorating, and condition of the room was excellent.
