The Historic Northern is a step back in time. The service is wonderful and hooray for the Golden Belle reopening!!

No TV reception, banquet food was the worst I have ever had. Poor service. Heater in room did not work properly. Train ran by all night. Save your self some hastle, don't stay at his hotel.

To start the stay off the hotels shuttle service made us wait at the airport (about 10 min away) for over 45min. We checked into our room that had not been cleaned yet, so they moved us to another room. After in that room for an hour the light in the bathroom went out. We stayed at the motel for 1 night on our way west. Every employee we encountered were both courteous and helpful! Will go stay again when in the area!

My wife and I I tried to stay in this hotel. The rooms are small. The air conditioner did not work and the TV had just a few channels. We had to leave because the condition of the hotel was so bad.

I loved the view from my top floor room! The room was small but adequate and the hotel has great historical ambience.

This place does have a good handicap accessible room with a wide enough bathroom--but the bath is a bathtub, so you have to be able to climb into it.

Service was excellent,and info on local events very good.
