When reserving our room we requested a roll away bed. Were even quoted an extra price for the service. When checking in we were VERY RUDELY informed by the manager that the hotel did not even have roll away bed. He then continued to tell us that he could get us a second room and quoted us a price higher than what we were paying for the first ...
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Aladdin in Kansas city January 17th - 19th. Thanks to travelocity, I found out that there is a parking garage across the street where I can pay $12 a day. I used that. A week later I find a $30 charge on my credit card. I called on Monday January 26th and left a message with the Manager. No call back. I called again on ...

Great place to stay!

I thought it was a great hotel! I really like the historic, older looking aspect of the outside of the building, but when you walked in it was very modern and nice. The staff was super friendly and I really enjoyed the glass of champange that was given to us at our check in. Nice touch. Very clean. Within walking distance of great restarants ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/08
The hotel itself was beauitul and the desk clerks were very nice. BUT while I was staying at this hotel I parked my Jeep in the parking lot right across from the hotel (where they valet park your cars mind you!) and it was broken into and stolen!!!!! The hotel basically said we're sorry about that and didn't do ANYTHING!!!! Also I wanted ...

From the minute you are greeted at the front door - its a special experience at the Aladdin Hotel. I will continue to stay here while visiting Kansas City in the future. Well done!
First time I've showered in a hotel with a double-headed shower. Best shower I've had in a hotel, by far. Overall, a very fine experience for my family in our trip to see Kelly and Reba at the Sprint Center. (The buffet breakfast was also top-rank.

Love it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/08
My mom and I recently stayed at this hotel after the nutcracker for a fun girls night. We loved the hotel. The rooms are fun, hip and very trendy. They are completely redone although not very big. The staff was extremely helpful. I also thought that $13 for valet parking was cheap compared to other cities and hotels. For instance, St. Louis runs ...

RUN! This place is horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/07
We were booked here by the company I work for. Our stay was 5 nights. The room was very small. There was no fridge or microwave and there were no vending machines. You had to go down to the lobby to get a canned soft drink and they were $2 each. There was an office chair and a straight backed chair in the room and since there were two of us, ...
I grew up in KC, left for most of my adult life and have recently returned. Why? For places like the Aladdin. An old hotel, built in 1925, not real exciting for most of the 1970's 80's. 90's. But now! It's gotten the great makeover, has a great look and attitude, and is just one of many places downtown that will make you smile ...
I didn't stay at this hotel, but I had some extra time and took a look at this classic 1925 old school hotel.
The elavators are narrow and the employees are polite. The lobby was an inviting two story with a bar on the second floor. Looking over the lobby, there is room around the top for reading and private chats.
I can't wait for my next trip to KC so I can check out the rooms.
