In the past 12 months, they have replaced the carpet, brand new furniture, re done the bathrooms, brand new beds, have just added 31 inch flat screen t.v.'s, brand new lighting package and the general manager told me they are gonna paint the whole property in spring of 2010. This property has done alot in shot time period.
For $250/night, we got a dated hotel room, unfitted sheets, subpar breakfast, and an unfriendly staff that could care less about customer satisfaction. There are several better options in Oxford or stay in Batesville. Stay away from this place!!
They remodeled the hotel this past summer. Not the rooms have new carpet, beds, and are nice. It is still a bit pricey for the room, but it is clean. You still have to go to the front to get an iron and ironing board was a 18 inch one. That could be worked on. Has fridge, microwave and they are new, nice TV and stations are ok. The hotel staff ...

Not one to be found in room. Called front desk, they said come and get it. So I did. A three footer with a burned up cover. The iron was black on the bottom. I covered ...

We can't wait to get away from here!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/06
This place is a dump! Our room has furniture that looks like it has been set outside in the rain and sun for weeks. It is both faded and damaged. The TV must be at least 20 years old. It is an RCA ColorTrack with a picture that arches in about an inch or so on both sides. The maroon carpet on the other hand has tons of major stains and is ...

It's certainly not the Ritz, but for the money, it's a good hotel.

Days Inn Oxford was perfect for my small budget. I recieved a free upgrade from a standard King room to the deluxe King room, simply because they were under capacity. Parking was convenient as well. Also, it is the closest hotel to Ole Miss.
