The Whitehall Inn was truly a wonderful experience for my husband and I. It was like taking a trip back in time. The hotel's atmosphere was calming and serene. The rooms are charming and the beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We cut our visit to Bar Harbor short in order to return to Whitehall for the experience. Also, the food is beyond first rate. We can't wait to go back for a longer visit.

Overpriced with scarcely any amenities; no pool, no Tv, no tennis, no hair dryer or coffeemaker, bed sagging in middle, banged up furniture like from Salvation Army. It's like stepping back in time to a more leisurely day and age. Ambiance and food are wonderful (the food is better than many NY restaurants I've been to!). Camden, Maine is a lovely town, and the Maine coast is spectacular. I would recommend the Whitehall Inn if you're looking for a quiet B&B type place.
