I loved the location of this hotel and ease of getting to restaurants, shops and entertainment. It is a beautifu hotel that has been wonderfully restored. The rooms were a little small but overall experience was good.

Overall the hotel was rundown. All the chairs are stained. The hallways smell like smoke and dog. Our bathroom sink wouldn't drain and the fan was broken.

The staff was rude. The continental breakfast was actually kind of disgusting.

I was not impressed with the hotel, i would have rather stayed at the holiday inn down the street which was even closer to old port.

great location, we were greeted with 12" + of snow. we were able to walk and take quick cab rides to old port where we were tripping over resaurants and bars. room was small but clean w/ nice decor.
