We were there for the North Atlantic Blues Festival in July 2009 for three days and paid $200 plus tax per night. The front desk staff is friendly, however, they must be short staffed in the cleaning dept. There was debris on the floor upon arrival and was never vacumned. Our room was on lower level, yes it was a cheaper one but did not even have towel racks let alone a hair dryer. Older towels and blankets were pilled. Beds were hard and squeaky. It was relatively clean and quiet, however, and staff was friendly. Restaurant had great food. If you are looking for cheaper than the rest with convenience to downtown , it was okay.

Walls a paper thin. Motel is geared to loud, festival partying. If you want to stay drunk and smoke all night, this is the place for you. the management encourages and defends this activity. If you want to sleep and rest, get outta town.

We just got back from spending 5 days at the Lobster Festival, and our stay at this hotel was outstanding... yet again. This is the fourth year we've stayed here, and have already made our reservations for 2008!

Very good place to stay for the money. We have stayed at the Navigator several times (5 to 10) and have only been dissappointed once due to the noisey people leaving the lounge, and the elephants walking on the floors above us. It is a great place to stay and explore downtown Rockland, you can walk anywhere from here. Also easy access to the ferry and bus terminal just across the street. We will be back again !!!!

We spent over 20 days a month in motels and in this price range, this is one of the better motels we have stayed in. Room was clean and front desk attendant was very friendly. The only complaint is that the walls are a little thin. When in Rockland, we will definitely stay here again.

dirty, terrible food, absolutely terrible, that restaurant is obviously run by people woh have no business running a restaurant. That food is below mall food court food!

I love the navigator, I have been staying there for years and find the service fine, and the location can't be beat. It is perfectly located at the beach, shopping areas and resteraunts--all in a short walking distance! I will continue to return to the navigator for the price and location-it can't be beat.
