This place is terrible! Dirty (ok, filthy!), falling apart, moldy, lost reservations. Police raided the place and there are broken in doors all over the place. Only 1/3 of the hotel is functioning. I don't even think this is a legitimate HOJO chain. Worst hotel experience of my life.

I liked this hotel alot, the price was right. They are under a complete renovation & under new ownership, & you can tell that they are really trying to fix it up. The front desk staff was awesome & very helpful, my room was super clean. I would definetly stay at this hotel again & have recommended it to my friends

I found the Staff at the Davenport Iowa Howard Johnson to be friendly, but the rooms was not very clean. When house keeping came in Saturday to clean our rooms they made the bed and left fresh towels that is all. They did not pick up our dirty coffee cups or give us fresh ones. They did not clean the bathroom sink or tub. There was mold all around ...

i like this hotel because it was close to the river boat, the price was right.
