Two things you should expect when booking a hotel - clean rooms and hot water. Pheasant Run failed on BOTH accounts. We found food under the furniture in our room and Saturday afternoon through Saturday night and entire WING of the hotel (including our room) had NO HOT WATER. To their credit, the management of the hotel comped our room for that ...

My boyfriend and I went to getaway for two days for a relaxing getaway. We ended up in a room with a crack mirror, no air half the time, broken light, a non working ice machine, garbage outside the room for 2 nights. I could seriously go on and on. Needless to say I complained to the the night person who didn't speak english both nights and ...

This resort is awful; the website is misleading. We recently stayed at the resort for a dance competition and were thoroughly disappointed. Its old; it smells and is very dirty. I don't believe they have invested any moeny into this property for a very long time. The resort boasts luxiourous rooms; be very careful. Our water for showering smelled awful and was even a brown color on several occurrences.
The rooms were dirty and my daughter broke out in hives after 5-10 min. She is allergic to mold. I found the staff lazy and rude with the exception of the man who carried our bags up stairs and had a smile the whole time (we were on the 2nd floor and no elevators). Every concern I voiced was met with shoulder shrugs. We left the same day and ...
This Memorial Day Weekend we decided to stay in Chicago and go to a couple of nearby brunch places, outside the city. The first one, on Sunday, at Pheasant Run was a disaster: The "cook" at the eggs table could only make "scrambled" he said when I asked for "two eggs over." Who has ever heard of a Sunday brunch without ...

I had booked the stay months in advance. Was DOWN GRADED from the room I had requested, but still charged for the room I had requested. The food was not worth what they charged the pools and hot tub were filthy. There were people having sex where ever they pleased... it was ridiculous.
the pillows looked stiff. the carpet was torned and bad looking. the toliet could be barely flushed. the shower had black mold. i wouldn't stay here again.
I just had a beautiful wedding reception @ the Pheasant Run Resort. . The food at the reception and room were both elegant in display and affordable in price. The honeymoon guest suite wuth the whirlpool tub was beautiful. While some may find the furniture to be outdated, I found the docr to be both nostalgic and victorian, very elegant. The ...
The accomodations are outdated and dirty. The staff are rude and inappropriate. When I contacted the General Manager Diane Rosenthal, she was unwilling to discuss my dissatisfaction. I would NEVER reccommend this place to any associates. My company has since stopped hosting events at this resort.
We just got back from a weekend stay at the Pheasant Run Resort and thought it was fantastic!!
The staff were the best. We were greeted by a bellboy (Jim) immediately upon entering the facility, who was available throughout our stay and always helpful. The bar staff were friendly, as were the wait staff and maids (although many of the maids do ...
