There were so many people talking about this resort, so I tried it with my family. Oh, this was just breathtaking, the place is so well kept, clean, staff were just lovely, big smile on all of their faces - arrival experience more than 5 stars. Rooms were spectacular, we were overwhelm with the amenities they had - theaters, comedy club, golf course, spa, kids activities, on and on.... This is just like the best Hawaii resort in Chicagoland.

The rooms were good and clean along with the pools. The service is great and I like the restraunt. the comedy club was exelant. ARE kids enjoyed the craft corner and golfing was great.

My wife and I went to Pheasant Run 3 weeks ago and I now can laugh at the experience. We went to have a Saturday getaway and enjoy each other’s company. A little pampering was what we were up for. What's not to like? There was always something to do. Day or night. There's entertainment for my wife and I and pools for the kids. It was nice to be close to Chicago but not too close.

Best resort ever, their swimming pools are the best, best rooms, best service, best food....all are best. The whole resort gives you a zen, calm, happy feeling....smiling faces everywhere.

This Summer my family did not go to our usual annual getaway - Maui, since I have to come to Chicago. Heard a friend mentioned about Pheasant Run Resort, and oh, mine.... This is the even better than Hawaii in all aspects - service, rooms, nice view, people, managers, food, shows,......, my kids really enjoy all the activities.......

Where can you go nearby to escape your everyday routine without a long commute? To Pheasant Run Resort, right here in my town. There are 3 pools, two bars, two restaurants, great bartenders, kind staff, and as I visited here in 1971, still a joy in 2005. Forget your troubles and be entertained at the comedy club, in the lounge for karakoe, ...

We Love Phesant Run. The avtivities, dinner theater, comedy club, spa, pools, dining room. fitness center etc. We hope to be there the weekend of August 26 - 27. To celebrate our 45th anniversary and my husbands birthday. We like the location for us. We are in Peoria, IL and this is a GREAT place to go for a weekend get away.

This hotel would have been decent, except our room, and all the other 7 couples rooms that stayed with us, smelled like sewer. Everytime you ran the water or flushed the toilet.
