I really enjoyed my hotel experience at the Hyatt Regency O hare. I treated my girlfriend to a three day weekend in Chicago. I chose this hotel because of the reviews of nice décor, the good service and reasonable price (@ $300 total including parking and breakfast-in-bed). And Hyatt delivered well.
Stayed here 4 nights for a sports show and sight seeing. We got a special for the show and paid $89 a night. Very nice and stylish hotel. Rooms were nice, beds were comfy as anything, nice lcd tv, good view. No free breakfast but they had a grea breakfast buffet (18.50 though). We got 30% off all food purchases though with room so it was more ...

I have to stay here often for business and there is a lot I like about this hotel. To clear a few things up, they renovated the public ares (not guestrooms) in early 2007. Currently they are renovating the guestrooms. The location is great if your traveling in and out of OHare, but if your looking for access to the city, Hyatt offers multiple ...
The Hyatt has pretty nice rooms, but the every thing was over priced.I stayed for A-cen and I would have too say for poor anime fans the Hyatt is the wrong hotel. Other than that I really did enjoy the Hyatt.

Wouldn't go back.

I stayed here for a few weeks. They boast 60 million in renovations. I don't think a penny of that was put into the rooms. Yeah the lobby is spectacular and that's about it. They have a restaurant on the premises but for someone like me $11 on a bowl of cereal is way too much. Forget about actually eating there. They have no pool, the ...

Never Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/08
We stayed at this property from April 10 through April 13, 2008 to attend the International Quilt Festival. When we booked the trip we knew we would be attending a convention at the Stephens Convention Center which is across the street toward the back of the hotel. Since we knew we would be on our feet all day and most likely carrying a lot of ...

Overnight at Hyatt
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/08
Room was sufficient for an overnight stay while I was in town for a Convention. There was some noise from the outside - airplanes were landing on the side of the hotel where I was located. I had to climb a flight of stairs - no elevator for me.
Room service delivered two fantastic meals. The operator for room service listened to my requests and the staff was very prompt with my meals.
NO COFFEE!! RUDE PEOPLE NOTHING TO DO INSIDE HOTEL - no pool ect. for $ spent! expensive food not fun beautiful venue though would be better if thier was a pool and weigh room and game room it would be better for families
Unless you are strictly there for a convention next door. This hotel is isolated and you cannot walk anywhere. We stayed in the "executive wing" which is a fancy name for the rooms far away from the main lobby area(s). The in-room coffee maker is a cheap one-cup brewer with the worst/weakest coffee packets ever. No vending machines. ...

Renovations of devolution?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/07
I used to look forward to going to this hotel every year. After the renovations, I'm not so enthused any more.
The pool was taken out. In its place: a wide open area to serve as a reception space for meetings. Great -- so people whose stuffy corporate employers force them to go to these useless meetings now can't refresh themselves with ...
